Enjoy a creative and original experience with Dieter!
After a warm welcome, the session will begin with an introduction to clay modelling, where you will discover different techniques for creating a unique mug, according to your tastes and desires. Classic shapes or original designs, anything is possible when it comes to personalising your creation!
Once you have made the base of your mug following Dieter’s advice, you will move on to decorating it with dots or engraving. These details will enhance your piece and give it an even more unique touch.
You will then entrust your creation to the craftsman, who will take care of the drying, firing and glazing. You will have the opportunity to arrange the collection details directly with him.
Finally, you will leave with memories of this wonderful shared experience, as well as the excitement of proudly using your mug for your next cosy moments!
Workshop location:
44 Rue de Laubespin, 1020 Brussels
Dieter’s workshop is located in Brussels and can be reached by metro line 6, Stuyvenbergh stop.
Additional information:
To participate in this workshop, please wear comfortable clothing suitable for the activity and for cleaning up at the end of the workshop, such as leggings or trousers. It is also preferable to have short nails and tied-back hair. Finally, if possible, please bring your own apron.
Please note that there is a risk of breakage when firing the pieces. This is an inherent risk of the craft and the artisan is not responsible for any breakages.
During this workshop, you can bring a small piece of furniture that is easy to transport, a decorative item or part of a larger piece of furniture to revamp (e.g. a drawer or the door of a chest of drawers).
You can also come without a specific project in mind, but with a desire to discover the fabulous world of furniture makeovers 😉
