Michel opens the doors to his charming workshop so you can discover the magic of woodworking. Together, you will build a unique birdhouse, perfectly suited to the birds in your garden.
Upon your arrival, you will receive a warm welcome from the expert, who will take the time to share the history of the workshop and show you some examples of their work on screen. You will then enjoy a tour of the premises, delving into the past of the 14th-century building and its neighbourhood, marked by an ancient Roman road.
The rest of the programme promises to be full of hands-on discoveries! Accompanied, if you wish, by your budding young artist, you will follow each step with precision: reading plans, tracing, sawing, drilling, milling, screwing and fitting hinges. Michel will be at your side throughout the process, helping you to familiarise yourself with the essential techniques and movements.
At the end of the workshop, you will proudly leave with your beautiful birdhouse, designed by four hands, ready to be installed to welcome new little visitors!
Note: The workshop will also take place on Wednesdays and during school holidays, perfect for children and grandchildren.
