Learn all about handcrafted jewellery in a friendly, multilingual atmosphere (French, English and Dutch) at a one-day workshop run by Hade. The workshop is suitable for beginners who want to learn the fundamentals of metalwork and take home a finished piece of jewellery, as well as those who have already completed an introductory course and wish to develop their soldering techniques further.
Throughout the day, you will create a piece of jewellery based on a model designed specifically for your level. If you are a beginner, you will work on a simple model to learn the basics. If you’re slightly more advanced, you’ll work on a more complex model to further develop your skills. Each model incorporates several techniques, enabling you to progress step by step to the final piece.
You will learn how to work with brass or copper, which is included in the price. If you wish, you can also work with silver, which is available at an additional cost. The workshop provides all the jewellery-making tools you need and you will benefit from Hade’s expert advice throughout.
Depending on the day you choose, you will make a specific piece of jewellery, such as a wire ring, a pair of link earrings, a pendant made from domes or gutters, or a brooch with a clasp. You’ll then go home with your finished creation!
