Initiate yourself to woodcarving with Michel, a passionate woodworker.
The discovery of the area, some theoretical bases on woodworking and the tools used will start the session, you will go from the raw material to the finished product
You will learn how to handle saws, gouges, rasps and glass paper to make a pair of serving pieces. You will start by cutting them with a scroll saw, manual or electric, after a short test on scraps…
You will discover the importance of the grain of the wood, the direction of the stroke when cutting and understand the importance of all your gestures in working with wood, guided in the use of a few tools so that your spoon takes shape in your hands, chip by chip.
You will leave this workshop with new knowledge, but also with a beautiful spoon that you will be proud to use every day.
