Upon your arrival at the workshop, you will be warmly greeted by Carine. She will start by introducing you to the space while sharing her own journey. You will also learn the basics of wood marquetry, including the essential tools and materials.
As this session is dedicated to creating a frame, you will then have the opportunity to choose the design and wood species that resonate with you from Carine’s selection.
The artisan will then guide you through the meticulous process of cutting and assembling the wood veneer, piece by piece, bringing your design to life. Along the way, she will provide you with valuable tips and insights into working with wood. All that’s left is to put everything together and position the pieces on the frame!
In the end, you will leave with a stunning frame showcasing your unique marquetry, which will not only enhance your interior but also bring a vintage touch to it!
