This culinary workshop offers a glimpse into the world of authentic, varied and often lesser-known Japanese cuisine.
With Miku and Sachiyo, you will discover regional specialities, bistro recipes, family dishes and spiritual culinary traditions. Depending on the session, you can learn to prepare a balanced bento box, simmer melt-in-the-mouth buta no kakuni pork, master the vegan cuisine of Zen temples or cook okonomiyaki, Osaka’s signature dish.
Each workshop will focus on a specific theme. After a cultural introduction and a technical demonstration, you will get hands-on experience. You will cook the dishes yourself, guided step by step by Miku and Sachiyo, before sharing a tasting session in a small group.
Whether you’re passionate about Japanese cuisine and culture or simply curious, this workshop is a great opportunity to experience unique recipes that are often impossible to find elsewhere.
